ABOUT MIDNIGHT SOCIAL
Midnight Social are a Yorkshire-based funk and soul band fronted by the charismatic Henri Gaston, whose smooth vocals and magnetic stage presence lead a feel-good set packed with timeless grooves and modern soul. Blending classics from Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, and Michael Jackson with favourites from Amy Winehouse, Sam Fender, and John Mayer, they deliver a stylish, rhythm-filled soundtrack that moves effortlessly from laid-back sophistication to full dancefloor energy at any event.

1. CAN WE SEE THE BAND LIVE?
To ensure you love the band you want, it’s a great idea to attend one our showcase events to see the band live. Visiting a live showcase allows you to experience the band’s performance first-hand, giving you a genuine feel of their energy, stage presence, and ability to interact with the audience. This chance is priceless for determining whether the band fits with the overall theme and aesthetic of your event.
2. WILL THEY LEARN MY FIRST DANCE SONG?
The first dance is the showpiece of your evening and it’s great to have your band perform the song live. When picking your band, have a think about what first dance you’re going to choose and which band would suit the song. We have some wedding bands for hire that are really good at romantic songs and others that are good for upbeat songs. It’s good to keep this in mind when selecting the band for your wedding or event.
3. WILL THE BAND TRAVEL
Our bands mainly cover Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Yorkshire but we also provide entertainment in London. We have a range of bands available, from rock bands to jazz bands, so you can find the perfect band for your event. Get in touch with our team to discuss your location.
4. HOW LONG DO THE BANDS PERFORM FOR?
Bands tend to perform 2 x 45-minute sessions across an evening reception. Many of our bands can upgrade their set times to 2 x 60 minutes. Our bands also offer a DJ service to cover the whole wedding reception so the music never stops and your dance floor is still jumping.
5. DO THE BANDS FOR HIRE OFFER DAYTIME OPTIONS

6. CAN I REQUEST A SONG?
Known for getting the whole crowd singing along, Midnight Social’s repertoire can adapt to any occasion. You can request certain songs (such as for your first dance) or genres ahead of your event, so you’ll know the music will be perfect.
