A DJ mixing live with sax played over the top gives you a club-style set with a performance in the middle of it. The sax comes in over the choruses everyone knows, so the big moments of the night have a live player on the floor rather than a track through the speakers. It suits couples who want a modern, high-energy party rather than a standard disco. You can push it further too, adding bongos, a violinist or live vocals over the DJ set for a bigger, bolder sound.

BOOK OUR DJ LIVE EXPERIENCE
Add live sax, bongos, violin or a vocalist over the DJ set and the evening stops sounding like a playlist. Live percussion drives a house set and a vocalist turns your first dance into a performance, with the players reading the room the same way the DJ does. The energy of a live player a few feet from the crowd is what gets phones out and guests singing back.
Our DJ Live Experience takes it further, pairing DJs with live musicians for a four-piece setup with female vocals, sax and percussion. Prefer to keep it simple? A full DJ set from a live DJ still fills the floor.
All the sound and lighting come as part of it, using RCF speakers, Chauvet and ADJ lighting and Pioneer DJ controllers, so the DJ setup looks and sounds right in your room.

Our full day package starts with a two hour daytime set of Cafe Del Mar style tunes from DJ and sax, perfect for a drinks reception in the gardens or a relaxed wedding breakfast. That Ibiza-style afternoon then hands over to the evening party, which runs through to the last song.

1. CAN WE SEE THE DJ & SAX LIVE BEFORE WE BOOK?
Our showcase events are the best way to see a saxophonist and DJ working together in person. You get a proper sense of their energy, how they work a room and how they interact with a crowd before you commit. Get in touch and we’ll let you know what’s coming up.
2. WHAT SORT OF MUSIC WILL THE DJ PLAY?
Every wedding DJ and saxophone booking comes with access to our online portal, so you can put your playlist together before the day. Tell the DJ the style you want, your must-plays and anything to leave off. The DJ takes requests on the night too, working them in where they fit the floor.
3. HOW FAR WILL THE DJ & SAX TRAVEL?
We take on events in Cheshire as standard, along with Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and the rest of the North West. Our acts also play weddings and parties across the UK and abroad. Send us your venue and postcode and we’ll tell you who covers it.
4. HOW LONG DO THE DJ & SAXOPHONIST PERFORM FOR?
The musicians play 3 x 30-minute sets across an evening booking, with the DJ playing through the whole event around them. That keeps each sax performance for the points in the night where it counts most, with the DJ carrying everything in between. You can also upgrade to the full day package and have music from the afternoon onwards.
5. DO THE DJs OFFER DAYTIME OPTIONS?
Plenty of our packages are perfect for weddings that want live music running through the day, not just the evening. Your DJ can play something chilled for the ceremony or drinks reception, keep things easy through dinner, then ramp it up as the evening kicks in.
6. CAN I ADD FURTHER MUSICIANS?
A DJ and saxophone duo is the usual starting point, with a percussionist, violinist or singer available on top of that. Every musician is completely wireless, so they’re free to move through the crowd rather than play from a fixed spot and interact with the guests for something truly memorable.
