Our DJs play weddings, corporate events, launch parties, birthdays and private functions, holding a room together from the first guests arriving to the last track. They mix live across the full range of the genre, deep and progressive house, classic acid house and disco and house grooves, plus the odd techno roller and current chart crossovers, reading the crowd as the night develops rather than running a fixed playlist.
With our professional DJs behind the decks, the set moves with the energy in the room. Soulful and low-slung while people settle in, then a blend of house and techno that builds through the night to the tracks that fill the floor and keep it full, with an Ibiza feel for anyone who wants it. 1. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A HOUSE DJ?
You can expect to pay between £650 and £1,000, with the final figure depending on your event type, timings, day of the week and location. Full sound and lighting, a pre-event planning meeting and the DJ for the whole event are all included. Get in touch for a tailored quote.
2. WHAT STYLE OF HOUSE MUSIC WILL THE DJ PLAY?
Our DJs cover the full spread, from deep, soulful and melodic house to tech, disco, funky and classic anthems, plus current chart crossovers. Before the event, you’ll set your must-plays and anything you’d rather leave off, and guest requests on the night are part of the service. Add a sax player, vocalist or bongos if you want live elements over the set.
3. CAN A HOUSE MUSIC DJ FOR HIRE PLAY WEDDINGS AND CORPORATE EVENTS?
Yes! Our DJs work across weddings, corporate events, launches, birthdays and private parties. Each set is read for the room it’s in, from a refined early evening to a full-energy late one. Tell us the kind of event and crowd and we’ll pair you with a DJ who suits it.
4. DO THE HOUSE DJS OFFER DAYTIME AND FULL-EVENT SETS?
Our DJs can cover the full event, not just the peak hours. Something chilled through a drinks reception or arrivals, comfortable background sets over dinner, then building as the night kicks in. One booking runs the music from start to finish.
5. WHAT SPACE AND POWER DOES THE HOUSE DJ NEED AT THE VENUE?
Most setups need a single 13-amp socket and roughly 3m x 2m of floor space. If your package includes live musicians or extra lighting, a little more room is needed. We go over the venue specifics at the planning meeting, so everything is agreed well in advance.
6. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK A HOUSE DJ?
The earlier the better, especially for summer Saturdays and the December party season, when the best dates go first. Weekday and off-peak bookings often stay open at shorter notice. Once your date and venue are set, get in touch and we’ll tell you what’s available.
