1. CAN I GIVE THE BAND A LIST OF SONGS TO PLAY AT MY WEDDING?
You can absolutely share songs you love and ones you’d rather avoid. Most bands work from a set setlist but will take your preferences into account when putting it together. If there are specific tracks you want included, it’s worth flagging early so the band can confirm what’s possible. The more you tell us about your taste upfront, the better we can match you with an act whose setlist already fits.
2. CAN I SEE THE BAND PERFORM LIVE BEFORE I BOOK?
Some of our acts play at live events, public gigs and wedding showcases throughout the year, so there may be opportunities to see them before you commit. It depends on the band and their schedule, but we can always send across live videos, setlists and footage to give you a proper feel for how they perform. 4. CAN A WEDDING BAND PERFORM OUTDOORS?
A lot of our bands can perform outdoors, and with York’s mix of walled gardens, countryside estates and barn venues with outdoor spaces, it’s a popular option. There are practical considerations around weather, power supply and sound levels that vary by venue, so if you’re planning an outdoor set let us know early and we’ll make sure the act we recommend is set up for it.

Most evening bands wrap up around 11pm – midnight but will depend on your venue’s licence and the running order of your night. We’ll talk through timings with you before you book so everything fits around your schedule and your venue’s requirements.
